The rejuvenating power of the breath or prana/life-force energy has been known for centuries. Specific breathing practices have been taught for ages as a way to direct our energy to facilitate health and spiritual upliftment. For eons, people have sought spiritual awakening, self-healing, and meditative relaxation through conscious breathing.
No one is immune to stress—but unprocessed stress creates tension and holding patterns within our whole system that can have an adverse effect on our respiratory function- including habits of shallow, chest, or frozen breathing patterns.
How we breathe effects how we sleep, digest, how we feel about ourselves, how connected we are to our intuition, and how we relate to others. Our BREATH is an integral part to our entire well-being and effects our nervous system, emotional state and physical health!
The good news is, when we can return to finding more ease and openness in our breath, we can begin to find more ease and freedom in our lives. By bringing vital energy into our body, we can help promote optimal healing and integrate life experiences somatically.
