• Studio Access + Class Start Policy: Classes begin and end as scheduled. Doors to the studio open 20 minutes before class begins, and the doors will be locked at the start of class to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

  • Phones + Devices: To help everyone stay present, we ask students to leave phones outside the studio and set smartwatches to Theater Mode. Exceptions apply for on-call medical professionals.

  • Mat Placement: Please align your mat with a green sticker to ensure proper spacing and flow for all students.

  • Minimum Age: Our classes are open to students ages 14 and up, and each attendee must have their own email and account.

  • Respectful Communication: Quiet conversation is welcome before and after class. During class, we ask that students do not talk to one another as we all endeavor to connect to our higher selves through our practice and Svadhyaya- self-study.

  • Inclement Weather Policy: In case of inclement weather, GPY will cancel class with at least two hours' notice, except for the first class of the day, which may be canceled with at least one hour's notice. Notifications will be sent via UnionFit to the email address provided when you registered, and any class pass used will be credited back to your account.

Our Story

A bit about us: Heidi and Danielle opened Greener Postures Yoga in late 2009, bringing to life a vision of light, airy, and peaceful spaces filled with positive energy. We are deeply grateful to architect and artist Jenny Scheu, a family friend of Heidi’s, who graciously designed both studios, and to the many family members and friends who contributed their time and talents—crafting floor plans, staining doors, installing bamboo flooring, and sewing curtains. Their dynamic energy and love are woven into every corner of our studios, creating the nurturing spaces we enjoy today.

Thank you for all you have done to remain open! So relieved and happy! I’ve been faithfully attending classes for 2 years now! I love everything about your studio: the instructors, SA’s, other yogis, the welcoming atmosphere, the warm inviting studio, how clean it is, and the amazing way I feel after a class. It does the soul good! Attending Greener Postures has been a game changer in my life!
